Kinder to Prep Transition

The transition program will be implemented in a number of stages.

1. School Open Night (Proposed 20th November)

Students will be able to tour the completed building (unfurnished) and external grounds over a twilight open night from 5 to 8pm. (Date to be announced)

2. School Information Night (2nd December)

Parents are encouraged to attend this more formal evening which will outline the following...

• Important Dates for the commencement of school.
• Introduction of Teaching and Administration Staff.
• Outline of school class structures.
• Outline of important school policy components.

The evening will commence and conclude with an opportunity to tour the furnished building.

3. Student Orientation Night (Year 1 - 6, 9th December, Year Prep - 15th December)

Students will meet their teachers and involve themselves in some introductory activities. Parents will be free to have coffee and chat in the community space at the entry of the school.

The first official day of school for all students is scheduled for Friday, 30th January. Prep students will not attend school for the first five Wednesdays of Term 1. This will allow students to have a rest day to assist them in coping with the many challenges moving from Kinder to Prep presents.
